Domestic Shipping

• Please note that we do not ship on Saturdays and Sundays.
• Until November 17th, all orders placed before 2PM EST (week-days) ship the same day, engraved or not.
• After November 17th until December 31st:
  • Non-engraved orders are fulfilled within 1-3 business days.
  • Engraved orders are fulfilled within 2-4 business days. 
  • The above are estimates. All orders may take up to 10 days to fulfill during the holiday season.
• A tracking number is provided with all shipping options, you'll receive it as soon as your order ships.
• Orders shipping to a PO Box will ship via USPS.
• Shipping carrier transit times are not guaranteed by Opinel USA. All orders are shipped from zip code 32246, in Florida. Orders shipped with Free Economy Shipping* should arrive within 3 business days from the send date to the states in Blue on the below map & within 5 business days to the states in Beige.Transit times are estimated and rely on the shipping carrier.
• Free economy shipping on orders over $45+.
• To ensure the secure delivery of your order, we reserve the right to request signature confirmation on any shipment at no additional cost to you.
• Opinel requires that packages over $150 in value be signed for upon receipt from the shipping carrier. If you choose to waive the signature upon delivery, you are accepting responsibility for missing or lost packages. Opinel cannot be held responsible for missing or lost packages if you choose to waive the signature.
• If a parcel is returned back to Opinel USA due to refused delivery, failed attempted deliveries, or failure to pay duties/taxes (international orders only) the customer is responsible for the cost to reship the package (if engraved) OR a refund will be issued less the amount of the original shipping cost.

Domestic Shipping Options:

• *Free Economy Shipping:If your purchase qualifies for free economy shipping ($45+), it will be sent via UPS Ground, USPS First Class, or USPS Priority Mail.
• USPS First Class: reliable but a little inconsistent with targeted delivery day. 1 to 5 business days (mostly 2 to 3) can be expected.See USPS commitments here.
• USPS Priority Mail:1 to 3 business days can be expected. In many cases this service will be 3 days faster than UPS Ground to the western states.See USPS commitments here.
• USPS Express Mail: Mostly overnight but could be 2 days depending on location. Saturday Delivery.See USPS commitments here.
• UPS Ground (Possible signature): Very reliable and consistent. No Saturday Delivery. We reserve the right to add signature confirmation if we deem it necessary for safe reception of the package.
• UPS Ground (Waive signature): Very reliable and consistent. No Saturday Delivery. If you choose to waive signature confirmation, then you accept all responsibility for missing or misdelivered packages. Opinel cannot be held responsible in any way.
• UPS Next Day Air Saver® and UPS 2nd Day Air®: may not be delivered on Saturday.

Expedited Shipping

• All orders placed before 2 PM EST for expedited shipping - engraved or not - will ship the same day via the selected method.
• All orders placed after 2pm EST for expedited shipping - engraved or not - will ship the following business day via the selected method.
• All orders placed on Saturday & Sunday will ship the following Monday.
• Please note, some of our shipping carriers deliver Monday-Friday only so please consider this when selecting expedited options. For example, an order shipping on Thursday via UPS 2nd Day Air shipping will arrive the following Monday; an order shipping Friday via UPS Next Day Air Shipping will arrive the following Monday.

International Shipping

• Internationally, we ship via FedEx, DHL or U.S. Postal Service. All options will be available during checkout.
• DHL is our fastest solution to Canada (1 to 3 business days).
• International orders do not qualify for free shipping.
• We do not ship to Mexico.
• Freight Forwarding / Holding Policy:due to the elevated risk of credit card fraud, customs issues and damaged shipments we reserve the right to cancel any orders shipped to freight forwarder/holder without notice
• Almost all shipments crossing international borders, including purchases made over the Internet, are subject to the assessment of duties and taxes imposed by the importing country’s government. The duties and taxes normally must be paid before the goods are released from customs and are not included in shipping cost.
• If a parcel is returned back to Opinel USA due to refused delivery, failed attempted deliveries, or failure to pay duties/taxes (international orders only) the customer is responsible for the cost to reship the package (if engraved) OR a refund will be issued less the amount of the original shipping cost.
