EXCELLENT OILER

I ordered some items from Opinel and this little oiler was offered as an add-on item at check out. I'm glad I grabbed one because I have been looking for something like this for a long time mostly for gunsmithing use. I oiled some knives and the very fine tip really allows for precise placement of the oil without over oiling and making a mess. I highly recommend and will probably be buying some more.

Great for getting into tight places

Perfect for those 'hard to reach's spots!

This was offered as an 'add-on purchase' and I thought it would work well for my miniature knife collection. They're all very old and in need of some TLC. I hate the straws on most lubricants, as they drip, fall off, and generally make a mess. This worked perfectly to get every nook and cranny of all my tiny knives (most less than 2"long folded) without being wasteful or messy. I can't speak for how well it inhibits rust or any of that yet, as I just used it, but it seemed to make the action a little easier and allowed me to sand off some surface rust that was developing in a few hard to see places. All in all, I'd recommend!

Essential accessory.

Handy applicator. Convenient size. I am new to Opinel. The sale and delivery went without a hitch. I have heard of the company of course forever, but had never had a chance to use any. So far I am impressed with the simplicity and usefulness.
